What will happen at quarterback for the Giants now?

The New York Giants are going to have to do something about their quarterback situation before their Sept. 9 season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Aren’t they? They can’t possibly keep four quarterbacks on the 53-man roster. Can they?Well Corey Ballentine NFL Draft , OK. They could. Because it’s been done before. And because that is what they have now after their initial 53-man roster was announced. But, will they? Highly unlikely.Much of the suspense on Saturday as the clock ticked toward the 4 p.m. ET 53-man roster deadline was about what the Giants were going to do at quarterback. There were early reports that Alex Tanney had been cut. Then, he wasn’t cut and the Giants were looking to get something in exchange for him. Then, reports were that it might be Davis Webb, drafted by then-GM Jerry Reese, who the Giants were looking to unload. Then, nothing happened. The Giants kept all four. But, it seems untenable that they would do that for the entire season. Or, really, any part of the season.I asked Mark Schofield Corey Ballentine Buffalo Bills Jersey , quarterback guru at Inside the Pylon and a contributor here at Big Blue View, for thoughts on teams that could be in the market for quarterbacks.Younger guy: New England Patriots, Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles ChargersVeteran: Maybe the New York Jets. Buffalo Bills. Baltimore Ravens depending on what they do with RG3. Houston Texans.Chris Pflum chimed in with this list of possibilities:Webb: Jacksonville or Carolina (both unlikely because of schedule), maybe the Chargers (I don’t think they have a plan in place for post-Rivers. Maybe Detroit (showed out against them, and has a similar arm to Stafford).Lauletta: New England - they loved him and he’s similar to Jimmy G who Belichick and McDaniels liked (IIRC). Maybe Green Bay as well (scheme fit in the WCO, and they traded Brett Hundley).Tanney: Anywhere that either has an established vet without a clear back-up or a young QB who could use a mentor. Maybe some place like Kansas City, Cleveland (if they think he’s better than Drew Stanton), Buffalo. Maybe some place like Green Bay for the same reason as Lauletta (no clear back-up and a scheme fit.) Maybe the Chargers as well.I don’t have any idea what’s going to happen. But Color Rush Corey Ballentine Jersey , something is going to happen. It has to.Your thoughts, Giants fans. Murray-USA TODAY SportsThe New York Giants sacrificed a pair of selections in the 2019 NFL Draft, a fourth-round pick (132nd) and a fifth-round pick (142nd) to move from No. 37 to No. 30 and select Georgia cornerback DeAndre Baker. They did it because cornerback was a position where the Giants obviously needed help, and per GM Dave Gettleman the Giants felt Baker was “the best cover corner in the draft.”The Giants went all-in to upgrade the cornerback spot, also selecting Julian Love (Round 4) and Corey Ballentine (Round 6) to add to new safeties Jabrill Peppers and Antoine Bethea. At corner, it will be Baker who carries the biggest expectations. He isn’t worrying about that.“I just come in and play my game and just show them they haven’t made a mistake by coming to get me,” Baker said during rookie mini-camp. “Just want to come in and help the team.”Let’s learn more about him as we continue profiling the 90 players the Giants will bring to training camp this summer. The basicsHeight: 5-foot-11Weight: 193Age: 22Position: CornerbackExperience: 0How he got here In a way, Baker is already a success story. He became a shutdown cornerback at Georgia Youth Corey Ballentine Jersey , and didn’t surrender a touchdown in his final two seasons. He only gave up one touchdown pass, in fact, in his four seasons with the Bulldogs.Pro Football Focus had Baker as its 16th-ranked prospect in the 2019 draft class, making him great value at No. 30:Baker skipped Georgia’s appearance in the Sugar Bowl and turned down an invitation to the Senior Bowl. There were questions raised about him during the pre-draft process. The Giants ignored all of that in moving up to No. 30 and making the 2018 Jim Thorpe Award winner, given to the nation’s best defensive back, the first cornerback selected in the draft.2019 outlook Baker is the favorite to be the starting cornerback opposite Janoris Jenkins.“He is a really talented guy,” defensive backs coach Everett Withers said. “When you watch his tape, he is a guy with a lot of competitive experience. To have another guy over there next to Janoris, he is talented enough to go over there and be a factor over there opposite Janoris.”Defensive coordinator James Bettcher pointed out that Baker’s collegiate success came against some of the best teams in the country.“The thing I would say about Baker is that he played in a very, very tough league Womens Corey Ballentine Jersey ,” Bettcher said. “We all know how long it was before he gave up a touchdown pass. He competed and covered some of the best players that have come out of that league on offense. His tape speaks for itself. One of the best, if not the best, tackling corner in the draft, period.”The Giants are obviously counting on Baker to quickly establish himself as a starting-caliber NFL cornerback and, down the line, perhaps more than that.

The man behind this feat was German-born Hans Wilsdorf, who founded Rolex in 1905. By Replica Watch obtaining this first chronometer certificate from Kew, Wilsdorf demonstrated that, in terms of precision, Swiss Replica Rolex a small wristwatch could rival that of the best timepieces, including pocketwatches, which Omega Replicas were the norm at the time. Thus, nearly two centuries after John Harrison Rolex Replica designed the first marine chronometer, Rolex targeted an equal level of precision for a wristwatch.
